THE ASSOCIATION OF HISPANIC ADVERTISING AGENCIES MOURNS THE DEATH OF INDUSTRY SUPPORTER AND HISPANIC TELEVISION VETERAN, STEVE LEVIN
Members of the Association of Hispanic Advertising Agencies were deeply saddened to hear of the loss of long-time industry friend and Hispanic television industry veteran, Steve Levin. Levin was revered and respected by all who knew him and worked with him, whether during his tenure at Telemundo or at SíTV. He was a dignified professional and person as evidenced by his commitment to our industry and his brave, long-time battle with cancer.
“On behalf of all of our members and our board of directors, I express our deepest sympathy to Steve's wife and children,” says Jackie Bird, chairwoman of AHAA and president/CEO of Winglatino. “His passing is a great loss to the Hispanic advertising community and we honor his memory, as well as his contributions and support to AHAA. He will be missed.”
Steve Levin died Wednesday, February 20, 2008 and is survived by his wife of 20 years, Katheryne, and his three children, David, Rachel and Andrew.
